We are pleased to provide you with a copy of our report for the 2010 calendar year.
It was another year of continuing stability in the auto insurance market with rates decreasing for a sixth consecutive year, bringing the average premium to $742.
Some of the issues in 2010 involved the continuing debate regarding the minor injury cap legislation and the government’s intention to prohibit the use of credit scores as an underwriting or rating tool in auto and house insurance. There was also an increased concern for house insurance as a result of weather related damages that are increasing both in severity and in quantity over these past few years.
