Consumer Advocate 2011 Annual Report

We are pleased to provide you with a copy of our report for the 2011 calendar year.

It was another year of continuing stability in the auto insurance market with rates decreasing for a seventh consecutive year, bringing the average premium to $731.

Some of the issues in 2011 involved a government working group review of the minor injury legislation and the government’s proposed amendments to the Insurance Act to ban the use of credit scores by insurers as an underwriting tool in setting premiums.

Our numbers for 2011 are as follows:

Life and Health 14%
